A InfinityID project to automate logistic procedures has
been developed for Ciocca, icon of Italian hosiery factories
with more than 20MLN socks sold per year. Nowdays, thanks
to its tradition and innovative nature, Ciocca represents a role model
in its market.
The project starts from the need to trace each movement from/to external studios. As the customer has semi-finished goods with many different manufacturing processes, they need to have a system that could be faster with documents and reliable in data collection during inbound/oubound.
RFID tunnels have been installed at the sorting line to automate counting and check at every single checkpoint the accuracy of the information inside the package.
RFID portals have been installed at the loading/unloading docks and on each displacement bay so that the system collects automatically goods movements, improving accurancy in inventory and warehouse management.
